Kang KangPronounced: "kung-kung" [IPA: kɅŋ kɅŋ] (Noah) Margolese
I'm an MD student at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and a philosopher of medicine.
Currently: I am working on developing a mentorship program for patients at SickKids' Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction clinic, connecting former patients with current patients going through the challenging process of external fixation and limb reconstruction. This project is informed by my personal experiences undergoing limb fixation/lengthening as a child.
I also serve as the first-year medical student appointed to Queen's University School of Medicine MD Admissions Committee.
My Masters: is on how empirical evidence-based medicine approaches ought to/do shape clinical care and decision making– with a focus on perspectives from critical disability studies.
Outside of academics: I'm an avid swing dancer and photographer. I love to take photos of dancing and nature (birds)!
